welcome back, 30D.  just got it back from the nice folks at canon. i told them just to replace a faulty shutter button. they replaced the shutter, replaced the pentaprism, realigned the focusing screens, replaced the mirror actuator, gave the CMOS a cleaning, and i swear to god, replaced the rubber “skin” on the body. it’s like a brand new camera, they just gave me another 100k clicks on it.

amazing stuff. look for more killer random everyday snaps, now i have a pretty decent daily carry camera. slap a 50mm on it and call it my new everyday walkaround camera

since the wordpress iPhone app seems to scale images down and generate links to the posted image (by default, and it isn’t changeable) and since it always seems to want to put the image at the end of the text (again, WTF?), I installed lightbox. consider this the test. the OMG PRICES! van.
